Beyond our own work and Action Projects, The Love Alliance strongly believes in partnering with other non-profit organizations that are making an impact on the world.

25% of the profits from our "Remember The Poor" merchandise go towards sponsoring children, specifically in Haiti, through Compassion International.  Currently 54% of the population living in Haiti lives on less than $1 a day. [ref.]  Because of the severe poverty in this country that is located so close to our base country, the U.S., we have committed as a community to help meet some of their needs.  Compassion International is a faith based non-profit organization that works to combat severe poverty in the world through programs that help nourish impoverished children's body, mind and spirit.  We are proud to partner with Compassion International to support the children of Haiti.

The Love Alliance currently supports Djemson.  Djemson is a 6-year-old boy living in Plaine de l'Arbre Haiti.  His parents make an average of $26/month to support him along with his 4 other siblings.  Through Compassion International, The Love Alliance is privileged to provide Djemson with health screenings, health education, social events, academic support, school supplies and uniforms,  faith teaching, meetings and literacy classes for his parents.

The Love Alliance also supports Ketnise.  Ketnise is an 8-year-old girl living in Nan Janvier Haiti.  Her parents make an average of $20/month to support her along with her 4 other siblings.  Through Compassion International, The Love Alliance is privileged to provide Ketnise with health screenings, health education, social events, academic support, school supplies and uniforms,  faith teaching, and also health education, literacy classes and meetings for her parents.

May '09- Due to the rising poverty levels food pantries are being accessed much more drastically.  TLA groups and individuals held non-perishable food drives and volunteered at local pantries to help meet some of their needs.

September '08- The Love Alliance community participated in our second annual Fall Cleaning.  Once again the community collected anything we didn't want, need, or use any more and donated it to local homeless shelters, thrift stores etc.  Large groups joined in on this project donating hundreds of pounds of items that they no longer used to individuals who were in desperate need of these items.

August '08- The Love Alliance community donated school supplies to children in low income areas.  Education plays such a huge part in breaking the cycle of poverty.  We as a community worked to make the education process a little bit easier for these children who often feel they are fighting an up hill battle.  Whole churches and groups joined in on this Action Project feeling that this was a way they could really impact their own communities directly.

December '07- The Love Alliance community all over the world donated gifts to impoverished children.  Some went down to local elementary schools in low income neighborhoods, others donated to children through Toys for Tots,  Samaritan's Puse, Angel Tree, etc.  All in all we as a community were able to brighten many countless childrens holidays in a time that many times can set them apart from children who are not in financial need.
