WHAT CAN I DO I’M JUST ONE PERSON?

A percentage of proceeds from every "Remember the Thirsty" product sold goes to the efforts in ending the clean water crisis in the world. Beyond buying a shirt:

- Continue to educate yourself on the issues. Don't let your knowledge of the clean water crisis stop here. Stay up to date on happenings in the world concerning clean water by frequently checking our World News section and the links concerning clean water in our Links section.

- Promote clean water issues- this is not an issue many people are currently aware of. Raise awareness in your community or school by speaking out for the world's thirsty. There are so many ways that you can do this:

Ask to speak to your school/class, group, church. Make them aware of the clean water crisis. If you need help getting started you can purchase “Remember The Thirsty” flyer cards in our webstore to get the conversation started .

Hold a world clean water crisis event via The Love Alliance. We all know that not everyone has the ability to give financially to an issue, but maybe you have the ability to give of your time towards clean water. Get creative in putting together an event towards the relief of the clean water epidemic. For help in getting an event started email info@thelovealliance.net

- Huge strides can be made in the clean water crisis through money. Come up with creative ways to raise money to help build life-changing water systems for those dying of thirst. Just one person's efforts can change the lives of an entire community of people forever. Imagine the outcome if we all work together. Organize events such as:

- A bake sale
- A loose change drive; you would be surprised how much loose change we have sitting around the house. What could buy us a pack of gum can change someone’s life.

- Donate to non-profit well building projects like Blood:Water Mission's Thousand Wells Project and Charity:Water.

- Learn more about different non-profits that are working specifically with the Clean Water Epidemic.  Visit our links page to view a list of great organizations.

- Demand change by writing and calling your local and national political representatives and telling them your concerns about clean water in the world. (click here to find your representatives)
